Our 2018 Safety in Action Icons

DONNIE MASSEY

SIA 2018 Icon Donnie MasseyDonnie is a Behavioral Safety Specialist for Shell Oil based out of Mississippi. His co-workers say, "When referring to [Shell's] behavior-based safety program, [Donnie's] name is synonymous." They say he always takes the "initiative to challenge the status quo" and takes "personal responsibility with his safety leadership role within our company." As a global group of energy and petrochemicals companies, Shell Oil has approximately 90,000 employees in more than 70 countries and territories around the world. That kind of organization size and diversity requires strong safety leaders to keep workers safe. Fortunately, for Shell (and for us), Donnie is on the job. DEKRA Organizational Safety & Reliability is proud to name Donnie Massey one of our Safety Icons for 2018!
